Return & Exchange Policy
At JJ Jewelry, we want every piece you receive to feel right. We stand behind the quality, craftsmanship, and gemstone integrity of every JJ piece, and we want you to feel confident in your purchase from the moment it arrives.
If your piece isn't right, we offer 14 days from the delivery date to request an exchange or store credit. Below, we outline what's eligible, what's needed, and the process, so there are no surprises on either side.
WHAT YOU CAN DO

Exchange your piece for a different size, style, or color within 14 days.

Receive a JJ store credit (no expiration) within 14 days if a direct exchange isn't possible.

Your first exchange ships back to you complimentary, via insured FedEx.
WHAT WE ASK IN RETURN
To protect the integrity of every JJ piece and ensure fairness to all our clients, returns must arrive in unworn, original condition, with:

Original JJ packaging in pristine condition (box, pouch, care card)

An authenticity certificate or appraisal, if included with the piece

A photo of the piece as received (we'll send a request after delivery for our records)
Every return is reviewed by our in-house gemologist before being processed. Pieces showing signs of wear (skin contact, fragrance residue, scratches), resizing, damage, or alteration will be returned to the sender at the sender's expense.
MADE-TO-ORDER, CUSTOM, AND PERSONALIZED PIECES
Because each piece is crafted specifically for you:

Made-to-order pieces (4- to 6-week lead time): you can cancel before production begins for a full store credit. Once production starts, the order is final.

Rings: due to sizing variance, all rings are considered special orders. Exchanges are accepted with a 15% restocking fee, which is waived when sizing is confirmed using our official JJ Size Guide.

Engraved, personalized, or custom-designed pieces: final sale. We recommend speaking with a JJ client advisor before placing any custom order.
THE PROCESS

Reach out to your JJ client advisor or email shop@jjjewelryshop.com within 14 days of delivery to start the process.

We'll issue a pre-paid, insured FedEx return label — your piece is protected in transit.

Pack your piece in original packaging in a rigid shipping box.

Drop off at any FedEx location.

Once we receive and review your item with our gemologist (typically 3 to 5 business days), we'll process your exchange or apply store credit.
Pieces returned without prior contact, without original packaging, or after the 14-day window cannot be accepted.
REFUNDS
JJ operates on a store credit and exchange model, not direct refunds. We've found this works best for fine jewelry: it lets us maintain the craftsmanship standards every JJ piece deserves. Store credit has no expiration and is fully transferable within your household.
For exceptional circumstances (item lost in transit, piece received damaged in shipping), our team will work with you directly to find a fair resolution, which may include a partial monetary refund.
SHOWROOM PURCHASES
All policies above apply equally to showroom purchases. You may also bring exchanges to our Miami showroom in person by appointment.
